Pepsi Bottling Ventures of Raleigh is expanding into the Northwest. On Tuesday, it announced it was buying Nagel Beverage Co. of Boise, Idaho, and the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Twin Falls, Idaho.

The deal is expected to close in February. Purchase prices were not disclosed. The Idaho bottlers reported revenue of $55 million last year. The combined company will have more than $700 million a year in revenue.

Pepsi Bottling is the nation's third-largest bottler for Pepsi-Cola. It has 2,200 workers, including 600 in the Triangle.
