RALEIGH -- Changes could be in store for the Holly Park shopping center on Wake Forest Road, which houses a Division of Motor Vehicles office and restaurant Shaba Shabu.

The shopping center is under contract to be purchased by Charlotte-based developer Lat Purser & Associates. Mark Pitney, manager of Lat Purser's Raleigh office, said the developer could close the deal in 30 to 60 days. If that happens, Lat Purser would take four to six months to renovate the 148,000-square-foot center, which was built in 1970, he said.

No deals have been signed with potential new tenants.
