CHAPEL HILL -- California discount gourmet grocer Trader Joe's has set the opening date for its second Triangle store.

Located in the Eastgate Shopping Center at 1800 E. Franklin St., Trader Joe's is tentatively scheduled to open Nov. 30.

The arrival will come almost exactly a year after Trader Joe's opened its Cary store, which was the first in the state. Since then, the company has also moved into the Charlotte market with two stores there.
