DURHAM -- ArtusLabs, a nine-employee company developing software and database technology to help drug and biotechnology companies, has raised $2.6 million in financing.
The money came from investors led by venture capital firms Hatteras Venture Partners of Durham and Southern Capitol Ventures of Raleigh. ArtusLabs plans to use the money to develop new technology and expand its marketing efforts.
The company says its software allows pharmaceutical and biotech companies to reduce the time and cost required to sift through and organize compounds to find and develop medicines.
