Hasentree Club has new general manager

Jeff Peak, who has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and private club management, is the new general manager of Hasentree Club in northern Wake County.

Peak, 54, was most recently the acting general manager of Ballantyne Club in Charlotte. Hasentree is a 934-acre private club with a Tom Fazio golf course and homes costing as much as $5 million.

The golf course is set to open in the fall, and the first homes will be ready before the end of the year.

Peak will oversee a range of operations at Hasentree, which will also feature an $8 million family activity center, a $2.5 million golf pro shop and a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Rita Anita Linger, adjunct professor at Peace College, has been named executive director of the N.C. Coalition against Domestic Violence.

Dianne Reid was hired as executive director of the Chatham County Economic Development Corp.

Don Bradley has been named senior vice president and chief medical officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Brad Carroll was named vice president and Clayton city executive of Patriot State Bank.

Erin Wheelock has been appointed district manager for the Raleigh region at Mattress Firm.

Ashley Dennis was hired as a design intern at the Raleigh office of architectural firm SchenkelShultz.

Cary Lail and Matt Cain have been promoted to vice presidents at McDonald-York, a general contractor in Raleigh.

Joseph Hollis joined the Lodestar Group in Raleigh. Hollis will assist with programming and professional education development. He will also work with industry programs and sponsorship.

Steven Winegar was hired as vice president of finance and marketing and Danny Seaton was hired as vice president of operations at Raleigh-based Edge Office.

IntraHealth International in Chapel Hill named Anne Wilson director of the Capacity Project, an initiative to help developing countries build and sustain strong health work forces.

Matt Curran was promoted to vice president of The Executive Staffing Group in Raleigh.

Brian K. Norkeveck joined Chatham Hill Winery in Morrisville as vice president of sales and business development for Chatham Hill and Sweet Carolina brands.

Re/Max United named Keith Kretzinger as sales manager and Brandon Williamson as on-site sales associate at Dowling Ridge community.

Capitol Broadcasting Co. named Barry Fox program director of MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM and 99.9 Genuine Country, WCMC-FM.

Marlon Headen was hired as sales representative at Alternate Access in Raleigh, which provides business phone systems to small businesses nationwide.

Craig D. Andrews joined the Raleigh firm Criser Troutman Tanner Consulting Engineers as a structural engineer and project manager.

Gavin L. Davis joined EDA, an architectural and engineering firm in Raleigh, as a landscape architect.

John Ogelsby was hired as senior project manager for the site civil department and Marty Stewart as project manager for the industrial engineering department in the Raleigh office of Trigon Engineering Consultants.

Raeford (Ray) W. Wall Jr. was hired as vice president and commercial lender in the Raleigh office of First South Bank.

Deborah Quay was hired in the Raleigh office of accounting firm Hughes Pittman & Gupton as director of audit services.

Joseph W. Marotta has been appointed vice president of global business management at Lord Corp. in Cary.
