UNC graduates hark the sound of encouragement by AOL's Case

More than 6,000 UNC-Chapel Hill graduates gathered Sunday morning at Kenan Stadium to celebrate their degrees, under a Carolina blue sky. AOL's Steve Case, chief graduation speaker, encouraged them to persevere and stay on the offense.

In the crowd at NC Central University's spring commencement, graduates cheered and flapped their hands, symbolizing the university's eagle mascot. On stage, class president Ryan Stowe reminded them: "I challenge you to continue to uphold the motto of 'truth and service' throughout your lifetime."
