HOW TO ENTER
To enter the drawing via the Internet, you must be a current Subscriber of The News & Observer. Subscribers can enter by logging on to www.newsobserver.com/zone, clicking on the INDIANA JONES movie pass giveaway drawing link and filling out the online entry form. Subscribers can access the N&O ZONE by following the steps to complete and activate registration on newsobserver.com when you click here. After logging on to newsobserver.com, click on the N&O ZONE Subscriber Rewards link to go to the N&O ZONE. On the N&O ZONE main page, click on the INDIANA JONES movie pass giveaway drawing link to enter to win movie passes. Non-subscribers of The News & Observer and non-members of the N&O ZONE can enter the drawing by mailing a letter containing their name, address, and phone number (and e-mail address if have one) to: The News & Observer, ATTN: N&O ZONE - INDIANA JONES, 215 So. McDowell St., Raleigh, NC 27601. All entrants may only enter one entry per household address (online or mail). Limit one valid email address per person and per household. Multiple or false entries submitted by a single person and/or a single household are void and any person who attempts or otherwise encourages, directly or indirectly, the Entry of multiple or false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage, directly or indirectly, multiple or false entries will be disqualified. All entries must be received by 12:00 am, Friday, May 16, 2008 (Monday, May 5 - Thursday, May 15, 2008). "Valid Entries" are completed entries that are received during the Entry Period.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Valid entries must be submitted via the method as described above. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Online entries are deemed to have been submitted by active News & Observer print subscribers. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. Photo ID may be required as indicated on individual Entry page in order to claim prizes. All mailed entries become the property of The News & Observer. Neither The News & Observer, its respective affiliates, parent, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies, or employees are responsible for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service or any other error or malfunction or late, lost illegible or misdirected entries.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
By entering into and participating in this drawing, each entrant agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this drawing. By accepting their prize, all winners agree that their first name and last name initial, and city name, may be used in the promotion of future drawings and/or The N&O ZONE Subscriber Rewards program, with no further compensation being due to said winner. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release The News & Observer, its parent company, McClatchy Newspapers, Inc., its directors, employees, officers and agents, without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Employees of The McClatchy Company and its respective affiliated companies; divisions, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, including The News & Observer, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the drawing. The News & Observer reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the drawing should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond the control of The News & Observer corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the drawing.

SELECTION OF WINNER
The News & Observer will determine which entries are Valid Entries and whether the entries otherwise meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. The News & Observer will randomly draw seventy (70) winners on Friday, May 16, 2008 from all of the Valid Entries received from Monday, May 5, 2008 through Thursday, May 15, 2008. The seventy (70) winners will each be awarded two movie passes (each pass admits one person). The News & Observer will be the sole judge of which entries are Valid Entries and its decision and drawing will be final. Winners will be required to pick-up their movie passes in person at the N&O Front Desk, 215 So. McDowell St., Raleigh, NC 27601, prior to the screening. Winners will be notified by e-mail, or telephone if no valid e-mail is provided, using the information provided on such winner's entry. The News & Observer is not responsible for misdirected or corrupted e-mail addresses that prohibit a person from entering the drawing or that prevent The News & Observer from identifying or contacting a winner. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, or cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time, an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of Valid Entries. Odds of winning depend upon the number of Eligible Entries received.

WINNER
The winners of the drawing hereby agree that The News & Observer may post or publish his or her first name, last name initial and name of town in The News & Observer or on www.newsobserver.com after the drawing. To obtain the name of the winners of the drawings, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: The News & Observer, ATTN: N&O ZONE, 215 So. McDowell St., Raleigh, NC, 27601. Requests must be received in writing within 90 days of the drawing. Requests must include specific contest information such as time and date of drawing, web address of drawing Entry form, prize(s) being offered and contest name. As a security precaution and privacy respect measure, said list generated will include Entry first names, last name initial or name used to register with and abbreviated email address only.

PRIZE
The winners will each receive two (2) "Admit ONE" passes to the advance screening of INDIANA JONES & THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 7:30 PM at Regal Cinema Brier Creek. Pass does not guarantee a seat and movie-goers are strongly advised to arrive at least one hour early. Seats are limited to theatre capacity and are first-come, first-seved. Neither The News & Observer nor the theatre are responsible for seating over capacity. There will be a total of seventy (70) winners. Winners must pick up their passes in person from The N&O Front Desk, 215 So. McDowell St., Raleigh, NC, 27601 prior to the screening. Passes not claimed by then will be forfeited with no further compensation due winner. Any expense not specifically stated as being included in the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. The News & Observer reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value or with the equivalent cash value. The winner may not transfer, redeem for cash equivalent or substitute the prize. Federal, state and local taxes, charges and incidental costs, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.

PRIVACY POLICY
All information collected in connection with the drawing may be used by The News & Observer to contact each entrant directly with marketing or other information. By participating in the drawing, each entrant hereby consents to such use. Subject to the foregoing, all other uses of entrant information will be in accordance with newsobserver.com's privacy policy located on its website in effect as of the date of your entry, which privacy policy may be revised from time to time in The News & Observer’s sole discretion.
