36-year-old 6' 2", 195 lb. forward from Tabor, Czech Republic. Signed a one-year contract with the Canes on Oct. 2 after playing for Anaheim last season, beginning his 18th season in the NHL.
30-year-old 5' 11", 175 lb. forward from Spokane, WA. This is his sixth season with the Canes.
18-year-old 6' 1", 192 lb. forward from Boden, Sweden. Selected by the Canes in the first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft with the 5th pick.
26-year-old 5' 5", 178 lb. forward from Oxford, MI. Signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canes on July 26 after playing five years for the Buffalo Sabres. Entering his sixth season in the NHL.
33-year-old 6' 2", 220 lb. center from Mississauga, Ontario. Signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canes on Oct. 31. He played in nine games with the Vancouver Canucks in 2012-13, sitting out most of the season with a recurring eye injury originally suffered in against Colorado on March 16, 2011.
24-year-old 6' 1", 200 lb. forward from Consort, Alberta. Entering his third season with Carolina. Played a career-high 32 games for the Canes last season.
30-year-old 6' 0", 205 lb. forward from Vantaa, Finland. Started the season on injured reserve after missing 29 games last season following hip surgery. Entering his seventh season with the Canes.
29-year-old 6' 2", 209 lb. forward from Krasnojarsk, Russia. Entering his ninth season in the NHL, second with the Canes. A team alternate, he was second in scoring for the Canes last season with 44 points in 44 games.
21-year-old 5' 11", 200 lb. forward from Toronto. Entering his fourth season with the Canes, led the team in shots (159) last season, with 13 goals and 24 points in 42 games.
28-year-old 6' 4", 205 lb. forward from Thunder Bay, Ontario. The team captain, led the Canes in points (53) and assists (35) in 2012-13. Entering his 10th season with Carolina.

21-year-old 6' 0", 215 lb. defenseman from South St. Paul, MN. Entering his third season with the Canes, was named team MVP last season. Led the team in average ice time (24:00) per game and led defensemen in takeaways (24).
32-year-old 6' 3", 210 lb. defenseman from Bolton, CT. Entering his 11th NHL season, signed a one-year contract with the Canes on Sept. 12 after playing in Winnipeg last season. Led the Jets in blocked shots (123) and had 13 assists in 47 games.
30-year-old 6' 4", 220 lb. defenseman from Oshawa, Ontario. Entering his fifth season with the Canes, led the team in blocked shots with 110 last season.
24-year-old 5' 10", 195 lb. left wing from Brampton, Ontario. Recalled from Charlotte on Nov. 6th where he led the Checkers in goals (6) and shots (35) and was tied for the lead in points (10) and power-play goals (3) in 10 games prior to his recall.
31-year-old 6' 4", 235 lb. defenseman from West Islip, NY. Signed a one-year contract with the Canes on July 5 after four seasons with Toronto.
20-year-old 5' 11", 185 lb. defenseman from Aurora, Ontario. Played in four games as a rookie for the Canes last season, spending most of his time with Kitchener (OHL) where he had 48 points in 54 games.
33-year-old 5' 10", 185 lb. defenseman from Indianapolis. Acquired in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Jan. 1. In his 11th professional season.
27-year-old 6' 0", 201 lb. defenseman from Bojnice, Slovakia. Acquired from Buffalo on June 30th after playing seven seasons for the Sabres.
29-year-old 6' 1", 185 lb. goalie from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His ninth season with the Canes, missed 27 games last season after a season-ending knee injury. Was 9-6-1 with a 2.84 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.
27-year-old 5' 11", 203 lb goalie from Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan. Signed a one-year contract with the Canes on July 5th after two season with Boston where last season he was 9-4-1 with a .920 save percentage with the Bruins in 14 games.
27-year-old 6' 1", 210 lb. goalie from Blyth, Ontario. Recalled from Charlotte on Oct. 14 and played his first game in relief of injured Cam Ward on 10/24. This is his fifth season in the Canes' system.

Kirk Muller, 46, enters his second season as head coach, but first full season after last year's work stoppage. Has a career record of 25-20-12. This is Muller’s first head coaching position in the NHL; he previously served as a head coach for the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League.

24-year-old 5' 11", 172 lb goalie from Kingston, Ontario. Recalled from Charlotte on Oct. 25 on an emergency basis when Cam Ward was injured. Signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canes on July 11.
Dave Lewis, 59, is in his second season as assistant coach for the Hurricanes and his 21st season as a coach in the NHL. Lewis previously worked behind the bench for Detroit, Boston and Los Angeles.
John MacLean, 47, is in his second season as assistant coach for the Hurricanes. Prior to joining the Canes, the Oshawa, Ont., native spent nine seasons as a coach in the New Jersey Devils organization, including seven years as an assistant coach.
Rod Brind’Amour, 42, is in his second year as assistant coach for the Hurricanes. Retired as a player in 2010 after 20 years in the NHL, the last 10 for Carolina. Captained the Canes to the 2006 Stanley Cup Championship.
