Drivers hit the brakes on I-40 when an armored car starts losing money

Money began flying loose from an armored car on Interstate 40 near the U.S. 1 interchange Thursday morning, and drivers pulled off the highway to go for the cash, authorities reported. The incident involved a truck from Loomis, police said, but there was no immediate information on how much cash was lost or recovered.
