She is the granddaughter of Mr. John Poindexter Irby III and the late Mrs.John P. Irby of Raleigh, North Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Austin Robbins of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The groom is the son of Ms. Wade Walker Coleman of Columbia, South Carolina, and Mr. William Skelton Coleman, junior of Gordonsville, Virginia. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Walker of Columbia, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Skelton Coleman of Martinsville, Virginia.The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History with English Minor. She was presented at the Terpsichorean Club in Raleigh, North Carolina and served as an Assistant Leader. She is an event planner at Creative Edge Parties in New York.The groom is a graduate of Woodbury Forest School in Orange, Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He received a Masters in Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is employed by Albourne Partners in Connecticut.Following a wedding trip to Harbour Island, Bahamas, the couple will reside in Brooklyn, New York with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lucy Coleman.
