The ceremony was officiated by Rev. D. Dixon Kinser. The bride’s mother and father are Mr. and Mrs. Royall Randolph Brown, Jr. of Winston-Salem. The groom’s mother and father are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Francis Clark III of Raleigh. The bride received her Bachelor’s degree from UNC-CH and her Masters from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She is a teacher with WSFCS. The groom received his Bachelor’s degree from UNC-CH and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a Senior Associate with Five Points Capital in Winston-Salem. The maids of honor were Margaret Hamrick White of Winston-Salem and Hunter Louise Laporte of Denver, CO. The bridesmaids included the sister of the groom, Lucy Arrington Clark, of Raleigh; Caroline Hodgin Ives of West Hartford, CT; Rebecca Beale Kornegay of Charlotte; Mary Catherine Bozymski Maus of West Palm Beach, FL; Barbre Elizabeth McGill of Washington, DC; Mary Margaret Mooney of Chicago, IL; and Suzanna Mary Roemer of Winston-Salem. The groom’s father was the best man. His groomsmen included the brother of the bride, Royall Randolph Brown III of Wilmington; Douglas John DeBaugh of Washington, DC; Horace Bryan Ives IV of West Hartford, CT; the groom’s cousin, Lt. John Ramsay Moore of Annapolis, MD; John Anders Olsson of Singapore; Andrew Hunter Ross of Washington, DC; and Joseph Ward Turner of Wilmington. The greeters were Julie Hawes Bynum of Jackson, Wyoming, and Julianne Kornegay Howard and Lauren Stange Nicholson, both of Raleigh. The flower girl was Frazier Dibrell Jones of Winston-Salem, and the ring bearer was Nelson Fitts Marshall of Raleigh. Both are cousins of the bride. The grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Louis Nelson Dibrell, Jr. and the late Mr. Dibrell of Danville, Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Royall Randolph Brown of Winston-Salem. The grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Walton Kitchin Joyner of Raleigh and Mr. Kenneth Francis Clark, Jr. and the late Mrs. Clark of Memphis, Tennessee. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Boat House in Roaring Gap and was hosted by the parents of the groom. The reception was held following the service at the Graystone Inn and was hosted by the bride’s parents. The couple will reside in Winston-Salem.
