Janna Lathan Neisler and Douglas William Myers, both of Raleigh were married on Saturday, April 25th at five o'clock at Oakland Plantation, the bride's family home, in Council, NC. The Reverend Joshua Bowers officiated. The parents of the bride hosted a reception following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Andrew Neisler III of Whiteville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joseph Andrew Neisler Jr. and the late Mr. Neisler of Lake Waccamaw, and Mrs. Alva Murray Lathan and the late Mr. Lathan of Raleigh. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis Myers of Princeton, N.J. He is the grandson of William Henry Myers and the late Mrs. Myers of Paoli, Pa., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Stanley Cislo of East Brunswick, N.J. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Cape Fear Club in Wilmington the evening before the wedding.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Heather Hooks Holmes of Wilmington, and the maid of honor was Anna Elizabeth McNeill of Raleigh. Honorary bridesmaids were Carson Norwood Hicks of Atlanta, Barbara McLeod Newcomb of Charlotte, Brooke Lauren Baragona, Meagan Elizabeth Jennette, Myers Hazelgrove Kaapro, Kimberly Senna Randolph, Hunter Snell Schenk, and Lindsay Alexander Strickland all of Raleigh.
The groom's brother, Gregory Glen Myers of Raleigh, served as the best man. The bride's brother, William Andrew Neisler, of Raleigh served as groomsman.
The bride graduated from Saint Mary's School in Raleigh and Peace College with a degree in Communications. She is employed by Wireless Communications as a sales representative. The groom graduated from Princeton Day School in Princeton, NJ and is a graduate of Wake Forest University and received an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He is co-owner of IMLeagues.
Following a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
