Anna Blair Mayo and Cade Alan Baughman were married on May 16, 2015 at half after five o’clock at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church in Tarboro, North Carolina. The Reverend Benjamin Edward Ernest Kane officiated. Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at the family farm.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Coakley Mayo, junior of Tarboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wayne Pryor of Polkton and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Coakley Mayo, II of Tarboro.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Alan Baughman of Willow Spring. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mr. Paul Erwin Niewoehner of Garner and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bruce Baughman of Newberry, South Carolina.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attended by her sister, Miss Catherine Clare Mayo, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Pryor Mayo of Wilmington, sister of the bride, Mrs. Kara Ruth Carroll of Garner, sister of the groom, Miss Catherine Mathias Whaling of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Courtney Cleaves Brady of Falls Church, Virginia, and Miss Eleanor Marcotte Redhage of Washington, DC.
Mr. Kyle Leigh Fenner, of Morrisville, served as the groom’s best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Timothy David Cowell of Stokesdale, Mr. Anthony Bryant Carroll of Garner, Mr. Trey Harold Glenn Carroll, III of Angier, Mr. Brandon Douglas Cole of Mount Olive, Mr. Evan Andersen Archer of Cary, and Mr. Stuart Alexander Gay of Raleigh.
The bride is a graduate of Rocky Mount Academy and earned Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting and Finance from North Carolina State University. She received her Master of Accounting degree from the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University and is a CPA with Thomas, Judy and Tucker, P.A. in Raleigh. Miss Mayo was presented by the Terpsichorean Club in 2007.
The groom is a graduate of West Johnston High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. He is a Regional Sales Agronomist with Pinnacle Agriculture.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
