Christina Wingfield Floyd and Timothy Allen Myers were married June 13, 2015 at six o’clock at Christ Church in Raleigh. The Reverend James P. Adams officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed at CAM Raleigh. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s family at the Carolina Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Graham Floyd of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Pleasant Floyd of Oxford and the late Mr. and Mrs. David James Morrison of Chapel Hill, formerly of Plainfield, New Jersey.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lynn Myers of Great Bend, Kansas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Leland Myers and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lenear Dennis, of Kansas.
The bride was escorted by her father. Carrie Brenneman Galloway of New York, New York served as the matron of honor.

Lee Christopher Heeter of New York, New York served as the best man. The ushers were Alexander Graham Floyd, Jr., brother of the bride, Frank Davis Thompson, Sydney Worth Dunn, III, Victor John Lytvinenko, and Karl Joseph Amelchenko, all of Raleigh.
Jeffrey Lynn Myers, the groom’s brother of Manitou Springs, Colorado, Elizabeth Shavender Richardson of Washington, DC, and Catherine Clark Smith of Raleigh, NC served as readers. Betsy Myers Johnson, the groom’s sister of Denver, Colorado and Paula Weiss Smith of Raleigh were greeters. John Hunter Bratton of Raleigh served as crucifer.
The bride graduated from The Madeira School in McLean Virginia. She received her BA from Appalachian State University and a Masters of Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University. She was presented by the Terpsichorean Club at the 2001 North Carolina Debutante Ball. She is employed at Floyd Oil Company.
The groom received a Bachelor in Philosophy from Southwestern College, Kansas. He received a Masters in Music from Florida State University. He is the Artistic and Music Director of North Carolina Opera and maintains an active guest conducting schedule thoughout the United States and abroad.
After a honeymoon trip to Iceland the couple live in Raleigh.
