Friday evening in Durham, the Full Frame Theater at the American Tobacco Campus continues its Third Friday Film series with a screening of Sam Cullman, Jennifer Grausman and Mark Becker’s fascinating 2014 documentary “Art and Craft.” The movie is about infamous art forger Mark Landis, a shy, soft-spoken Mississippi man who for more than three decades, falsified documents and used aliases to dupe many museums (including the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill) with his expert replications of works by well-known artists like Pablo Picasso and Charles Schultz. Landis never got any money for his forgeries – they were all donations. Much of the movie concerns Matthew Leininger, a former registrar for the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, who makes it his mission to expose and put a halt to Landis’ ruse. The screening is part of the Full Frame Road Show presented by PNC. 7:30 p.m. Free. Details: 919-684-4444 or fullframefest.org.
