Saturday, the N.C. Museum of Art kicks off its Summer Outdoor Movie series with Denis Villeneuve’s 2016 sci-fi drama “Arrival,” starring Adam Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. Adams stars as a linguist, who, along with a mathematician (Renner), is called on by a US Army Colonel (Whitaker) to help communicate with aliens that have landed and are hovering in gigantic oval spaceships over 12 different locations on Earth.
