Paramount this week released a DVD of a documentary called “I Am Dale Earnhardt.” The film, which aired on Spike TV earlier this year, aims to go beyond the legend of “The Intimidator” to reveal details of the complex figure. Earnhardt was a villain to some, but a hero to millions; idolized by the working man, but also a darling of Wall Street.
In addition to the 1-hour documentary, bonus features include a 1980 Rookie of the Year montage, a 1986 Richmond crash montage, his 1998 Daytona 500 victory, his 2000 Talladega win and extended interviews. The film is also available on iTunes, Amazon Instant, XBox, Sony, VUDU and Google Play.
We have one copy to give away to an Earnhardt fan. Email firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight Friday (Sept. 4) and include your mailing address. You must put “Dale” in the subject field to be entered in the random drawing.
