Aaron Copland's trips to Mexico in the 1930s were influential on his own compositions as well as his estimation of the country's composers, including Silvestre Revueltas. The North Carolina Symphony program Friday and Saturday in Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall includes two Copland pieces from that period, "Buckaroo Holiday" and "El Salón México," along with several by Revueltas. His "Redes" is the soundtrack to the film, which will be shown as the orchestra plays it. 8 p.m. $18-$65. 919-733-2750 or ncsymphony.org.
