The N.C. Symphony opens its Raleigh classical season with an all-American program. Featured works are the world premiere of Sarah Kirkland Snider’s “Hiraeth” (based on her impressions of North Carolina) and George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto, performed by internationally acclaimed recording artist, Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
