In Raleigh, Irish bluegrass band I Draw Slow plays at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts; in Durham, singers/songwriters Patti Griffin, Sara Watkins and Anais Mitchell perform at Duke University’s Page Auditorium; and in Cary, Johnny Folsom 4 celebrate the late Johnny Cash’s birthday at The Cary theater.
- On Saturday, David Allan Coe performs at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh; the Grass Cats are at Lorraine’s Coffee House in Garner; and the Leroy Savage Group play at Abbey Road Tavern and Grill in Cary.
- On Sunday, Rhiannon Giddens and others are at UNC’s Memorial Hall in Chapel Hill, while Luther Dickenson sings the blues at the Carrboro ArtsCenter.
- On Wednesday, country’s Randy Rogers Band performs at Lincoln Theatre.
