Former child prodigy Conrad Tao, now 21, brings his highly praised interpretive skills to his piano program for Duke Performances Friday in Baldwin Auditorium. His noted technical skills come to the fore in works by American composers, including Aaron Copland (Piano Sonata), Frederic Rzewski (“North American Ballads”) and David Lang (“Cage”). Schumann’s “Carnaval” concludes the program.
