It took a great deal of confidence for the Quebe Sisters to perform “Once a Day” on “The Marty Stuart Show,” with Stuart’s wife, Connie Smith, standing on stage listening to the three teenaged siblings master her signature song. But the Quebe Sisters have confidence and talent to spare. The Texas-born trio brings their triple fiddle brilliance to an array of musical styles. Country classics, Bob Wills’ Texas Swing (“Yearning”), jazz standards (“How High the Moon”), pop favorites (“It’s a Sin to Tell a Lie”), and delicious three-part harmonies are all part of the winsome trio’s appeal.
On Wednesday, the Quebe Sisters bring all this and more to Durham’s Blue Note Grill. Get details at thebluenotegrill.com.
