Year two of the Raleigh era of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass won’t kick off until late September, but plans are already coming together. The next piece of news to drop will be nominees for the 25th IBMA Awards, which will be announced Aug. 13. Sam Bush and North Carolina native Jim Lauderdale are set as co-hosts of that day’s announcement press conference in Franklin, Tenn., which will be live-streamed online.

You can watch it live at the Daily Planet Theater of Raleigh’s NC Museum of Natural Sciences, which will host a viewing party beginning at 5:45 p.m. that day. Admission is free, and the band Diamond Creek will perform afterward. The IBMA Awards ceremony is set for Oct. 2 at Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium, co-hosted by Lee Ann Womack and Jerry Douglas.
