Utopia (8pm, Fox) - Fox hopes to punch up the reality show genre with this new entry, which is described as a one-year social experiment involving 15 people who try to create their own civilization from scratch. They’re asked to start by deciding on a system of government, what food they’ll eat and how they’ll interact with the outside world. The filming takes place in a remote location north of Los Angeles and media reports indicate that the participants are already “at war.” Apparently, they can’t agree on even the most basic things (hey, it’s America!). Also of note, one of the cast – Chris Tuorto – is from Cary. Tonight’s premiere episode is the first of three this week (other episodes air at 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 p.m. Friday). It’s regular timeslot will be 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
