Jane the Virgin (9pm, CW) - This charming new drama tells the story of Jane ( Gina Rodriguez), a smart and ambitious (and virginal) young woman who is in love with a great guy. Then a routine visit to the gynecologist ends in an accidental insemination and we find ourselves in a full-blown telenovela. The show has a great cast, including Justin Baldoni, Brett Dier and Andrea Navedo, but Rodriquez provides the magic. Read the full review of “Jane the Virgin” here.
Also on tonight . . .
Gotham (8pm, Fox) - Gordon and Bullock act quickly to protect members of the Arkham city council as they prepare for a dangerously controversial vote. Meanwhile, Gordon gets a visit from an old friend (an old friend he previously pushed off a pier, hint-hint).
Sleepy Hollow (9pm, Fox) - Abbie and Ichabod’s search for a missing child leads to the discovery of a demonic Pied Piper whose ties to the tot’s family go back centuries.
Never miss a local story.
NCIS: Los Angeles (10pm, CBS) - Hetty receives some shocking news from NCIS director Leon Vance while she is investigated by the Department of Justice.
The Blacklist (10pm, NBC) - Nonviolent citizens become killers, prompting Red to suspect that a deadly psychological experiment has been put in motion. Mary-Louise Parker and Paul Reubens (yes, Pee-Wee Herman) guest star.
