What to Watch on Tuesday: Coach returns to ‘New Girl’

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - Remember Coach from the early episodes of Season 1? Well, Coach ( Damon Wayans Jr.) returns to the loft and expects things to be exactly the same as they were when he moved out (because he had another gig on “Happy Endings,” which was tragically canceled too soon). Elsewhere, Jess and Cece meet an attractive man ( Taye Diggs) during a girls' night out.

The Originals (8pm, CW) - Klaus goes to extreme measures to protect Hayley and their unborn baby when he learns Hayley's life is being threatened.

American Masters: Jimi Hendrix (9pm, UNC-TV) - "Hear My Train a Comin'," a profile of Jimi Hendrix, features footage from the 1968 Miami Pop Festival, home movies and remarks from family friends and fellow musicians, including Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Vernon Reid and Dave Mason. Also featured, band members Noel Redding, Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox.

Trophy Wife (9:30pm, ABC) - Kate a Pete host a party while Meg posts an unflattering picture of Diane online.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Jax uncovers secrets that turn his world upside down.

Person of Interest (10pm, CBS) - The team keep tabs on a hypnotherapist whose number has come up. Elsewhere, Carter goes after an antiquities dealer who has an HR connection.
