Modern Family (9pm, ABC) - In an episode directed by Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”), Cam takes Lily to a charity event, where they learn the true meaning of Christmas. Meanwhile, Mitch goes last-minute shopping to get the right gift for Lily, and Jay and Manny set out to cut down their own tree.

The Sing-Off (8pm, NBC) - The second night continues with nine groups trying to impress judges with party anthems.

Mob City (9pm, TNT) - Bugsy reveals a plan to transform the city and resorts to violence to prove his power. Meanwhile, the force is determined to apprehend Siegel.

Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale (10pm, NBC) - Kelly Clarkson and guests celebrate the holidays with a musical morality tale. Guests include Blake Shelton, Trisha Yearwood, Robin Williams, William Shatner, Heidi Klum and many more.

American Horror Story: Coven (10pm, FX) - Fiona eyes an alliance with Marie Laveau. Later, Cordelia’s attacker is revealed, and Nan learns a disturbing truth about Luke’s past.

Nashville (10pm, ABC) - Juliette headlines Teddy’s music festival, but she’s shocked by the bad press she receives and searches for the gossip leak.
