How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - Only a few of these left and it’s looking more and more like the finale is headed toward the darkest timeline. We’re all aware of “the theory” out there, right? Who’s still in denial about it? I’m sorry, but I think it’s happening. (Those of you unaware of what I’m talking about: enjoy your blissful ignorance till the bitter end, but have some Kleenex at the finale.) Tonight, Marshall recruits Ted and Barney to help him get to the bottom of the mystery of where Lily disappeared to when she bolted in the middle of their argument. Chris Elliot returns as Lily’s dad.
The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - In the Season 18 finale, bachelor Juan Pablo will select a young woman to propose to. Or he won’t. But he’ll talk about it with Chris Harrison at 10 on “After the Final Rose.”
Bones (8pm, Fox) - The murder of a CIA informant sends Booth and CIA agent Danny Beck on the trail of an Afghan terrorist. Meanwhile, Brennan wants to spend more time in the field with Booth, but they wonder what impact it will have on their family.
The Fosters (9pm, ABC Family) - Callie feels conflicted after meeting with her dad, and worries how this will affect Jude.
Never miss a local story.
Believe (10pm, NBC) - This is a new series about a young girl with supernatural gifts and the wrongly accused inmate assigned to protect her. The first five minutes of this show are kind of terrifying. The next 15 are pretty ridiculous. That’s as far as I got before the NBC screener DVD conked out on me. A much better option at 10 p.m. is . . .
Those Who Kill (10pm, A&E) - In the second episode of this very dark Chloe Sevigny crime drama, a mysterious message is found alongside a murder victim. Meanwhile, Thomas looks into Catherine’s past.
