RALEIGH -- Police are searching for two armed men who robbed a North Raleigh bank this morning.
The robbery occurred just after 10:30 a.m. at the RTP Federal Credit Union on 7560 Creedmoor Road. No injuries were reported.
Two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns walked into the federal credit union and fled after demanding money, a dispatcher with the city's 911 center said.
One suspect, according to Raleigh police, was described as a black male, 6' 2" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He wore a black ball cap, black stocking mask, black clothing and black boots.
The second suspect, according to police, was a black mail about 5' 7" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He wore a black ball cap, black stocking mask and black clothes.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Raleigh Police Department at (919) 890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at 226-2746. The N.C. Bankers Association is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
