Triangle Transit may be moving its Regional Transit Center from the Research Triangle Park to a new site on Emperor Boulevard near the Sheraton Imperial Center.
Any move would change the routes serving Triangle Transit at 6 Park Drive in RTP.
Triangle Transit is collecting feedback until about the proposed service changes related to the potential move. There are four ways to provide feedback:
-- Sign up for the public hearing at the Board of Trustees meeting 1 p.m. Aug. 27, at the Triangle Transit's office, 4600 Emperor Blvd, Suite 100, Durham. This will be the only public hearing prior to the final consideration and vote by the Board of Trustees on the service changes related to the Regional Transit Center move. Persons who may need special accommodations, contact Michelle Dawson by 5 p.m. Aug. 22, at (919) 485-7438.
-- Attend a Public Information Session at the current Regional Transit Center from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Aug. 28, at 6 Park Dr. in the Research Triangle Park.
-- Leave a message with one of the service planners at 485-PLAN.
-- Use the feedback form.
Maps and descriptions of potential changes to Triangle Transit bus and shuttle routes are also available online.
