RALEIGH -- The Raleigh Fire Department ruled a fire at New Bern Avenue's Black Tie nightclub an arson.

The fire, which was reported at 4:16 p.m. on Saturday, did not result in any injuries. It apparently began as a brush fire on the exterior of building and spread inside.

About 5 percent of the building was damaged.

No one was in the building at the time.

Lt. Tim Wilson said the fire department is beginning to view a series of video surveillance shots and will report the results of their investigation soon.
