Bill was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He was a true renaissance man who loved science, music, art, fish, fine food, PBS, his hats, his friends, his co-workers, and especially his family. A brilliant scientist, inventor, designer musicologist and storyteller. Graduated Lima Senior High, Lima, OH, 1960, 1964 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.
Employed as a Mechanical Engineer at 3 Phoenix in Wake Forest, NC.
Bill is survived by his wife, Anne Pell Moscrip of the home, his daughter, Heather Hogan of Zebulon, his son David of Boston, his son Kevin of Los Angeles, his brother John Moscrip of Palm Harbor Florida, his stepdaughter Jennifer Clark of Spotsylvania, VA, his stepson Steven Childers of Spotsylvania, VA, granddaughters Zoey Hogan of Olympia, WA, Rosie Hogan of PA, grandsons Meryn Hogan of Zebulon, Jack Moscrip of Boston, Dylan Moscrip Boston, and step-grandchildren Jeremy Clark USN Norfolk, VA, Spencer Clark, Spotsylvania, VA, Nicholas Clark, Spotsylvania, VA, Phoebe Clark, Spotsylvania, VA, Mckenzie Childers, Fredericksburg, VA, Austin Childers, Fredericksburg, VA.
A memorial will be held Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 AM at St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Durham, NC, reception to follow at the church hall.
