Mr. Isaiah Lavont Langston, age 17, lovingly known by his family and friends as “Fatman,” of 5525 Black Maple Drive, Raleigh, NC, departed his earthly life on Monday, September 29, 2014, at WakeMed Hospital, Raleigh, NC.
Isaiah was born in Wayne County, North Carolina on December 18, 1996. He was born to the Mrs. Sanina Langston Williams and Mr. Lamonte Williams.
He was receiving his education in the public schools of Wake County. He was attending Rolesville High School and he played on the school’s football team wearing Jersey “number 78.” Also, he was a star Left Tackle/Defensive Back on the football team and he was a member of the National Art Honor Society.

Isaiah attended the Raleigh North Christian Center in Raleigh.
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 12:00 a.m. from the Raleigh North Christian Center, 6021 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC. Dr. Jeffrey Chapman, Sr. will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, 1874 Old Mount Highway, Dudley, NC.
Also, a public viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014, in the Raleigh North Christian Center, 6021 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Mr. Langston leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories to: his parents, Lamonte and Sanina Williams Langston; (Domiko Davis); his brother, Aijalon Langston; his sister, Termaro Davis; his grandmothers, Charlene Langston and Annie Vann (Hosea); his great grandmother, Dorothy Langston; his Grandfathers, Tony Smith (Joyce), Leslie Gibbs and Aroy Williams; a special aunt, Elder Michelle Jones; his god-mothers, Debra Streeter and Yvette Darden Faison; his best friend, Savannah Simpson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, schoolmates and friends.
Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street, Goldsboro, NC beginning on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
