A strong Christian faith and love of family were characteristics that were exemplified in our mother’s life. She was very active in the life of her church from working with nursery school children to Wednesday Night Suppers. Mother also worked with The Wake County Public Schools as a cafeteria manager. This kept her very busy; but not so that her role as mother to three growing children was diminished! She was very involved with our schooling and outside activities. It wasn’t too long before in-laws were in the mix, followed by grandchildren, granddogs and great grandchildren. One of our mother’s greatest pleasures was fixing favorite family foods and having all of her family over. We will always remember the good times shared, the blessings evoked, and a table filled with “mother’s cooking”. Love always, Diane, Jimmy, and Doug.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Litchford Falls Healthcare fort the care and love given to our mother, particularly the nurses that we talked with every day: Teresa, Mercy, and T.J. and special kudos to Keonna who made sure her hair, and makeup were done.
