Dianna Douglas Culbreth and Daniel Cameron Wagoner were united in marriage on November 15, 2014 at Hayes Barton Baptist Church at half past four in the afternoon. Reverend David Hailey and Reverend William Zima II were officiates at the double ring ceremony. A reception with dinner and dancing followed at The Pavilions of the Angus Barn.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Douglas Culbreth of Raleigh. She is s the granddaughter of Mrs. Louise Pearce Jeffreys and the late Mr. Hubert Devan (Tommie) Jeffreys of Louisburg, and the late Mr. Carson Clinton Culbreth of Fayetteville and the late Mrs. Ava Culbreth Reaves of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Nancy Eloise Vanhook of Franklin, North Carolina and Mr. Harry James Wagoner of Burlington, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Emma Louise Vanhook and the late Mr. Ray Newton Vanhook of Franklin, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John William Wagoner of Gibsonville.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The bride’s twin sister, Lou Carson Culbreth of Raleigh served as maid of honor and Emily Ann Mitchell of Apex was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Devan Culbreth Taylor of Raleigh, sister of the bride, and Stacey Ingram Carothers of Raleigh, cousin of the bride, Patricia Demkowski Eshleman and Abigail Jacqueline Kody both of Raleigh, Mollie Shelton Mosser of Fort Lejeune and Summer Flowers Ricketts of High Point. The groom’s daughter, Julie Rebecca Wagoner of Greenville, South Carolina was flower girl. Karoline Grant Moore read scripture. Johanna Lukhard Steis, Erin Miller Taylor presented programs and LoriAnn Sykes Stretch presided over the guest book.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Kenneth Len Culbreth, uncle of the bride, Dylan Taylor Morris, Matthew Mark Brown and Matthew Wayne Embry all of Raleigh. The bride graduated from Ravenscroft School and Meredith College with a BA and from North Carolina Central University with a MA in Mental Health Counseling. She was presented by the Terpsichorean Club at the 2001 Debutante Ball. The groom graduated from Eastern Guilford High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BS in Biology. He is currently employed by Lab Corp. The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii and make their home in Burlington, North Carolina.
