There was a call that could not answer, a voice that only he could hear.
Apostle Lindsey Warren Adams, Sr. transitioned to be with the Lord at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Winston-Salem.
Apostle Adams, Sr. was the founder of the Born Again Free Deliverance Tabernacle Church of God headquartered in Winston-Salem where he served for 35 years and presided over churches in Thomasville and Roseboro, NC.
Apostle Adams established the Helping Hand Ministry to feed, clothe and provide shelter for those in need. The Ministry touched the lives of individuals all throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. He was a servant of God and preached the good news that Jesus came to save, heal and deliver all from sin.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Bishop Barbara Adams, his seven children; two brothers, George Adams (Teresa), William F. Dixon, (Eunice); three sisters, Joan Adams Peacock, Barbara Adams Jones (Willard) and Janie Adams. He also leaves to cherish his legacy 10 grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and the entire Born Again Free Church family.
Homegoing service is Saturday, December 13, 2014, 11:00 a.m., Born Again Free Deliverance Tabernacle Church, 741 Moravia Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
