Grant William Haines, 57, of Knightdale, NC, was called to heaven on February 2, 2015. He was born January 29, 1958 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and entered the United States Army at the age of 20. After serving 8 years as a Sergeant in the Army he moved to North Carolina were he spent the remaining part of his life living in the Knightdale/Wendell area.
He had a lifelong passion for family, friends, bald eagles and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be remembered for his quiet smile, his soft spoken humor, his Harley Davidson t-shirts, his devotion to family, his unyielding friendship to all as well as his faith in God. He was happiest riding with loved ones and friends, so ride free now, amongst the angles in heaven.
