Ann Clara Spodnick, 87, of Willow Spring died quietly at home on Feb. 12, 2015. Funeral Service will be held at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church at 1005 Wilbron Rd., Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina on Feb. 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Fondly known as “Miss Ann” to her customers, she worked at the Target in Cary until 2008.
A native of Connecticut, Ann also lived in Duncan, OK before moving to Willow Spring in 1996. She is survived by her children Jo Ann Stuever and husband Jaime of Leadville, CO, Gary Spodnick and wife Julia O’Carroll of Willow Spring and Denise Spodnick of Fuquay-Varnia; her grandchildren Amy Stuever of Denver, CO, Ocie Nicholas Elliott of San Marcos, TX and Allyson Elliott of Fuquay-Varina and brother William Mihalovic of Smyrna, GA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin B. Spodnick of Milford, CT; father Stephen Mihalovic and mother Clara Mihalovic of Fairfield, CT; brother Stephen Mihalovic of Bridgeport, CT; and sister Carolyn Carnevale of Gallatin, TN.
