Anne Arthur Arberg, 69, of Durham, NC, passed away on February 22, 2015 due to complications from ovarian cancer. Anne was born March 5, 1945, to Mildred and Maxwell Arthur, in Asheboro, NC. Anne is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Arberg of Jamestown, NC.
Anne graduated from Asheboro High School in 1963. She then attended Averett College in Danville, Virginia before pursuing graduate work in developmental psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Anne joined HRC Behavioral Health and Psychiatry P.A. in 1988. Her most extensive work was in the design, formation and operation of Employee Assistance Programs and the BarCARES program for attorneys throughout North Carolina. She was an integral part of the HRC family for almost 25 years and was treasured by her colleagues for her humor, creative approach to problem solving, and poetry writing ability. Anne had an immense love of books, cats, quilting, her HRC family, her daughter and her son-in-law. She is greatly missed.
