Talmadge Andrew “Andy” Wall, 63, of Kill Devil Hills, passed away Sunday evening, March 29, 2015 at his home. Andy was born September 29, 1951 to Elvis Chester Wall and Marie Cunningham Wall and was a native of Rolesville, NC. He was a 1969 Graduate of Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC and completed undergraduate studies at Pembroke State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1973. During his high school years, Andy played in a band called the Summits combo and later played with the “Mystics. In 1974 he earned his Masters in Media Education from East Carolina University where he once again graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Andy was AV director for Wake County Public Schools from 1974-1984. Later he was a Media Communications Specialist for 3-M and AV Director at Wilson Community College. In 1985 he started his own multi-media production company in Wilson, NC and worked with several Fortune 500 companies to promote and advertise their businesses. He started a second multi-media company in 1999 known as Mediawall that continues to operate today. Andy did special events such as weddings, fishing tournaments, boat shows, and a veterinary conference for the East Coast Veterinary Association. He did multiple media installations for the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jeanette’s Pier, many churches and even personal homes. He loved being a media missionary- to ALL his clients…Thanks for the business and thanks for being a friend!!!
During his time of relaxation, Andy enjoyed water sports and snow skiing. He was an avid sailor and won numerous awards for several races. He had a true passion for life and living each day with the same energy of hard work and hard play.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, April 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 prior to the service.

Andy is survived by his wife, Lynne P. Wall; children, Coy Privette and wife, Niki and Brandi Privette; his mother, Marie Cunningham Wall; brother, Glenn Wall and wife, Sue; grandchildren, Hunter, Carson, and Andrew; niece, Susan Wall Holland and husband, Kevin and their daughter, Annabel; nephew, John Wall and wife, Holly and their daughter, Olivia Claire. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Wall.
