Meaghan Quinlan Curley, 44, of Raleigh, NC, passed into peace on April 25, following a long illness. Born in Annandale, Virginia, she grew up in Columbus, Ohio; St. Louis, Missouri; Boston, Massachusetts; Hawaii Kai, Hawaii; Greenwich, Connecticut, and Memphis, Tennessee, but it was the Boston, Massachusetts area, she long considered home. She graduated summa cum laude in two majors from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and worked with various Fidelity Investment offices in the area until her transfer to Raleigh.
Meaghan was the proud mother of Kate, who was the love of her life.
Meaghan loved animals and filled her home with cats, dogs, birds and others over the years. She was greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by her beloved dog Greta and her cats Morgan and Nimue, as well as a host of other furry friends.
Meaghan loved the outdoors, running with her dog, sailing with her brother and sister-in-law, visiting New Orleans, and exploring new parks, beaches and places with Kate. She had a lifelong love of reading, movies, and art. She took great joy in making a lovely home for Kate and herself, engaging in many remodeling and upgrading projects. She also excelled at her work in the IT field.
Meaghan is survived by her daughter Katherine Borasky; her mother, Suzanne Curley; her father and stepmother, David and Kristina Curley; her brother, David Curley, and his wife, Sally, and her grandmother Regina Goodnough, as well as her aunt, uncles and cousins.
A family Celebration of Life and Jazz Funeral will be held in New Orleans.
