Olga B. Santo Tomás, widow of Silvio L. Santo Tomás, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015 at her home in Miami, Florida, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Havana, Cuba on July 2, 1939 to Sergio and Hilda Faes Barrientos. In 1960, she moved from Cuba with her husband and raised their three children in Raleigh, North Carolina with love, laughter, music, friends and family.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother; she is survived by her daughters Olga Santo Tomás Monroe married to Don Monroe, Hilda Santo Tomás and Isabel Santo Tomás; grandchildren Olga Isabel and Alejandro Monroe; and Serge and Armand du Lau d'Allemans; sister Hilda Barrientos de Morales married to Miguel Morales.
A mass will be celebrated at St. Kieran's Catholic Church, 3605 S. Miami Avenue, Miami FL 33131 on May 2nd at 12:30 pm, with interment at Cabaliero Rivero Woodlawn Park North, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
