Murder on the Cape Fear

Ellen Elizabeth Hunter

Hunter, a Wilmington writer, has an interesting sleuth, Ashley Wilkes, a historic preservationist who has some funny friends and relatives, in her series set in and around the Wilmington area. It's fun to learn their local history while trying to figure out whodunit. Each book in the series is an absorbing read.
