| Twelve-year-old Bryan C. Digby, in foreground, waits to bull fight at a rodeo in Garner. "I get an adrenaline rush before I bull fight," he said. "It's kind of butterflies in my stomach, when I get them I know it's time. Sometimes I pray before I bull fight. Most times I talk to my dad and get his advice. He used to bull fight when he was younger. Now he helps me train. I think he thinks it's pretty cool that I'm doing it. People at my school don't know that I'm a cowboy. To be a cowboy you have to have guts, but be polite as well. I go to two or three rodeos per week, on the weekends, we travel all over the state. I love it; I get to have fun at the events and spend time with my family. My dream is to make it to the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) to bull fight. I've gotten hurt before, but I know how to take care of myself. That's what I tell my mom, I know she always worries". |
