| Richard Dennis takes to his knees for the last dance of the evening with his eight-year-old daughter Robyn Dennis during the 9th annual Father & Daughter dance on Friday night, February 17, 2006 at Millbrook United Methodist Church. "I wanted to be on her level for the last dance. It's one of the things that I hope she will remember when she grows up", Richard Dennis said. "I have always enjoyed dancing with my daughters. I'd hold them when they were babies and dance around the room with them" Dennis added. More than 450 people attended the dance, with proceeds going to The House of Hope of NC, a Christian, non-denominational therapeutic home, school, and counseling center for girls, ages 12-17 in Clayton, N.C. |
