A friend and I had lunch recently at Winston's Grille. The soup of the day was Cheeseburger Chowder, a hearty and delicious soup! Would you consider requesting this recipe for your readers? -- J.A.B., Wilson

We had the Bruschetta with goat cheese appetizer at Winston's last week. We would love to have this recipe, as it was the best I think we have ever had, even in Philly! -- F.W.C., Raleigh

Offering a mix of traditional and contemporary American fare in a casually upscale atmosphere, Winston's Grille (6401 Falls of Neuse Road; 790-0700; www.winstonsgrille.com) has been a North Raleigh favorite for more than a decade. Chef Mike Pruitt obligingly comes through with both recipes.
