| A tree frog displays its suction cup toe pads as it sticks to a sliding-glass door in north Durham County during a rain shower. On rainy evenings, the frogs can often be found calling in or near shallow, temporary pools of water. Their calls can be nearly deafening, especially when several begin chorusing together. They are nocturnal and will eat most any small insect they can catch. | ||
