    Aaron Barker was a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard for Olympic High in Charlotte. He was fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 8.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Two years earlier, he played eighth-grade travel basketball on former Charlotte Hornets star Muggsy Bogues’ MB1 team. He died unexpectedly this year, but his friends still text him. His mother always replies.
