Fall trunk show season is officially here, with several shows this week:
• Dovecote boutique in Pittsboro’s Fearrington Village kicks off its fall trunk show series with three events this week. First, the store welcomes designer Edda Jockisch of German label Elemente Clemente to share the latest casual separates from the brand’s fall collection on Saturday and Sunday. A few days later, the shop will have knitwear from SKIF, which uses natural fibers such as unprocessed cotton and silk for its pieces, and jewelry made of precious metals and semi-precious stones from Tracy Mallon Jewelry. Both of those shows run Sept. 10-11. For more information, call 919-542-1145.
• Fine Feathers boutique in Chapel Hill hosts two trunk shows this week. First up, the Diane Snyder cashmere show features cashmere separates handmade by old-world artisans Sept. 8-13. Then, the store will have made-to-order ball gowns and special occasion dresses from Catherine Regehr Sept. 9-13. Fine Feathers is at 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill; 919-942-3151.
• CT Weekends will have casual separates from Babette in store for a trunk show Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 9-10) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the show, shoppers will receive 10 percent off pre-orders. CT Weekends is in Cameron Village at 437 Daniels St., Raleigh; 919-787-9073.
