From suits to jewels, this week’s trunk show lineup offers a little something for everyone.
▪ New menswear from Samuelsohn and Hickey Freeman will be in-store at Nowell’s Clothiers in Raleigh for a trunk show on Thursday. Both brands specialize in tailored suiting. Then on Saturday, the store celebrates the season with its Fall Fashion Kickoff, 2 to 6 p.m. In addition to a trunk show of new women’s styles from Sail to Sable, shoppers can enjoy giveaways and play cornhole for prizes. Dads can get help styling their little girls’ hair Saturday during the Daddy-Daughter Hairstyling Class at HQ Raleigh in downtown. From 10 to 11 a.m., dads can learn styles beyond the basic ponytail from a professional stylist. There is a minimum $10 donation, which benefits the Me Fine Foundation, a nonprofit that provides support to families of critically-ill children at Duke and UNC hospitals.
